Dying To Have Some Fun

Four great men, swelling with muscles, and tough with sinew, guided themselves to a large limo, each one taking their spots. Excellent The young man hiding behind some dumpster muttered to himself, his accent as fresh as ever. It really showed up when he was excited. And this, just happened to be one of those occasions.

"irish boy," The young girl muttered peekign around the garbge. She barely breathed, The stench stuck to her lungs like peanut butter. The glasses on her face slipped as she watched the men. Her subordintes. She hmphed. She was blind at the moment. As her hands scrambled to find the delicates glasses. As she slipped them back on she looked up at the manwith her. Her boss.

"Is there a problem with my origin being Irish?" Gentian questioned, his blue eyes boring into Angel's. His brogue couldn't be stopped now, it wouldn't ease until his adrenaline wore off. And who knew how long that would take.

Not waiting for an answer, he scurried ahead, silently skidding to a halt beside the car's trunk. It was pretty big. Good. He pushed the button then went over and tapped the big burly man on the left upon his shoulder. The muscle man grunted and went ahead to the driver's seat. That was the signal.

Looking over, he waved at Angel. She had better get a move on. They were loosing time. He pushed the button on the trunk and it lifted up without a sound. He jumped up and into the trunk, sliding along its bottom. It was really comfortable. A blanket had been laid down so it wouldn't be quite as uncomfortable as it could have been.

Angel slipped in beside him silently closeing te trunk. "God don't e sucha ginger." She whispered. Than relized who she was. She was a Ginger Daywalker. Tan skin no freckles and red hair made her a daywalker. At least she was a regular ginger.

The young man ignored the comment, pretending he hadn't even heard it. He didn't know what to think of it, really. Instead, he rose his hand up and brought down the roof. "Buckle up, Angel. This'll be a rough ride." he said, grinning widely.

At that very moment, the engine rumbled to life, car doors closing. It was time to go.

Angel rooled her eyes. There where no seat belts. It didn't matter.

The car peeled away, and he could smell the fumes from burning rubber as they pulled off into the main road. He estimated the car was traveling roughly 72 miles an hour, on a 65 mile limit. But hey, who cares right?
Wrong. Gentian had to push himself up against the trunk wall and bared himself as the car had veered off onto a back road, potholes littering the asphault. It was absolutely dreadful. He must have hit his head on the trunk at least two dozen times. He made a mental note to fire the drivers after everything was done.

Angel layed on her stomach her elbow and lower arm proping her up with haer other arm above her head against the roof to stop her from bounceing around her head. She pushd her chin onto her chest to stop it from bounceing. Her stomach churned but she had longago grown immune to this.

The young man grinned at Angel. "You make it look so easy." he muttered, hitting his head on the roof of the trunk, again. Pain pulsed through his head, but he tried to put it aside. However much it hurt.

"I'm used to what these idiots do. Trut me they aren't always very smart." Angel replied strained at a large bump.

Another bump hit. Gentian grunted. "And to think I hired them." he squeaked, surprised at how falsetto his Irish accented voice sounded.

Angel smilied braceing herself for the bump.

The young man held himself beside the trunk, sweat beginning to bead on his brow. This was tough. Really tough. He could use his powers to help him, somehow. But it was unnecessary, and he knew it. At the moment, he had to be as frugal as possible.
Taking a deep breath in, he forced himself to sit upright(hitting his head in the process)and face Angel. He was quite comfortable in his new spot, his head rubbing against the ceiling of the trunk, hunched over a little so that he fit just right. "Quite exciting, isn't it? Much better than an hour or two in an office." Gentian said, his voice quivering.

Angel bit her lip to hold back a loud hiccuing luagh. She knew Genitan wasn't as used to it as her. She smilied and nodded.

Gentian did his best to hold himself together, keeping his legs in place and shoving his head hard against the trunk's roof to prevent him from knocking it again and again.
Five minutes passed, and he imagined that they had been driving along for about forty-five minutes now, when he got bored. He hated boredom. "How did you come across this job?" he decided to ask, his voice no longer quivering but calm and steady. His old voice was back, as he always did when he hid his Irish accent.

"How...well, can't exactly remember. I jsut was always good with a gun, enjoyed fighting and...That's right I ended up getting offered lots of money to ill this mob leader so, that's how I sttarted this profession!" Angel smilied. Her back in a soft pain.

"Well that's just lovely!!" Gentian said, getting a sudden spasm of adrenaline through his body. Must have been the fact that he was getting beat up by a car and he was about to kill someone.

He tried to straight himself, only to hit his head again. Now, instead of just wincing and ignoring, he swung his fist at the trunk top and unintentionally left a dent. "Shit." he muttered, his teeth bared.

He laid on his back suddenly, out of breath for no apparent reason. "We better get out of this car soon, I'm beginning to loose myself." he gasped. His adrenaline dwindled, but clung to him. He had no idea of what to do at the moment, so he just worked on getting his breath back.

Angel nodded her shoulder twichted a bump.

Laying still, Gentian didn't move a bit as he breathed in with his eyes closed. He breathed in through his nose, so he didn't look that weird or that freaked out, even though he was.

The car jerked to a stop, and car doors opened and shut. "Thank heavens." he sighed. "Wait here an hour, then we move into action." He put his hand on his forehead, taking yet another deep sigh.

Angel ploped onto the ground. Her job was so annoying at times. She loved it tough besides there wasn't much else to do.
