Kisho laid down on the couch, the furniture becoming a familiar bed for him. "Yeah. I remember." he said, giving in as he stared into the darkness that concealed the ceiling he was trying to stare at.

Soon akki was asleep.

Aftenoontime

Eventually, the teenager let his eyelids ease shut and his mind ran blank as he slept comfortably. He knew he shouldn't have drank, it gave him nightmares about his past. His mother still haunted his dreams.
Waking up at about 11:30 in the afternoon, Kisho held his head in his hand as he stood up, walking into Akki's room. "Hey. What time is it?" he asked, his head not as bad as before. He thought he might be able to go to school if she wanted to. They could sneak in, just as he used to sneak out. He hated school, only staying in on certain for important tests and vital essays that he always aced, passing him into the next grade.
His father had no idea where he was, and he didn't think the drunk cared. Regardless, Kisho lived his life. Enjoying it as he stole, fought, and went to school with his friends.
It had been a while since he'd seen them, but it would be nice to see them again. He loved hanging out with them since they always cheered him up no matter what and got his blood pumping. He had a blast when they got into fights, he always got into the middle of it and defended his friend, winning.
He nudged Akki's shoulder, "Akki." he whispered, not sure she heard his last call.

Akki eyes fluttered open. She looke into. "Yea." She said sitting up.

Kisho back up a little, not wanting to be in Akki's face. "Do you still wanna go to school? You gotta tell me now while it's lunch time. We can sneak in while no one's looking." he said, itching his jaw. He hangover headache had eased and he could think and see clearly again. Even his eyes got their gleam back, he looked like his normal self.

"Nah. it's no the funest place to be." Akki rubbed he eyes. She hdn't been in a few weeks.

Kisho nodded, Alright, that's out of the question... "Well we gotta do somethin. I'm bored outta my mind and I'm sick of watching Kopper try to swim in his sleep." he practically, almost a little ashamed of waking Akki up.

Akki stood. "Yea I guess we should go somewhere."
She sighed.

Rubbing the back of his neck, Kisho turned and went into the living room, sitting down. "You pick the place." he sighed, blinking as he looked at his slumbering, swimming, raccoon.

"We culd walk around town," Akki said. Walking to her dressers. looking for some a clean set of her outfit.

Kisho nodded, looking at his whiskey bottle. He took a single sip, "Yeah, I guess we could, but there's nothing really new out." he replied, putting the bottle back in his bag.
Rummaging through it, he found a clean shirt and decided to put it on, if he was going out, he'd need something to wear.

Akk slipped on her clean outfit. Than fxed her hair. "Well, we can find somethig." slipping on her shoes she looked at the newspaper cutout."If we meet anyone from school, you'll need to call me Kami, kay."

Kisho shrugged, pulling on his satchel and covering it with his coat, to hide his secret bag, filled with stolen goodies. "Whatever you say, Kami." he stifled a small smile as he picked up his crook and looked once again at his raccoon. "Should we bring Kopper?"

"If you want." Akki said walking over to him.

Kisho nodded, he looked at his raccoon and let out a sharp and high whistle. It was barely audible to human ears, but it was like a firetruck siren to the furry creature on the floor.
Kopper hopped onto his paws, his eyes full of alarm as his fur bristled and he bared his fangs.
The teenager almost smiled at Kopper, "Kopper." he said, looking calmly down at the small animal.
Settling down, Kopper scurried over to Kisho and climbed onto his shoulder, clinging tightly to his shoulder.
Holding his friend, the green eyed human looked over at Akki, who was now dressed in different clothes. "Ready when you are." he smiled, Kopper's tail wrapping around his neck.

"Than lets go." Akki smiled softly. Walking down many flights of stair.

Kisho leaped over the railing, landing with a soft thump on the wooden floor below. He was right beside Akki once he stood up from his crouch, shaking out the air from inside his coat. He walked to the door and opened it up, the serene environment of the woods instantly flowing over him. He breathed in, taking in all the sweet and crisp scents from the trees, plants, and leaves. He stood in the doorway for a moment, taking a few seconds to see everything.

Akki slipped up next to him. Letting the sweet smell of the flowers overflow her. She spotted a bunny eatting some grass. She watched it. It got spooked and ran though after a while.

Kisho became aware of Akki beside her as he looked over at a two blue jays taking care of their nest when he saw her in the corner of his eyes. "Alright, let's go. You can lead." he said, waving his hand out the door to point at the trail that lead to the town. Of course, with Akki he had no idea whether she was going to follow the path or find her own way through the woods. She was unpredictable.

Akki nodded. THan she remembered somthing she found oneday. She walked torwads a hidden path. It was dark, with a ceiling of vines. THe path was thin.

Kisho followed, staying on the path, though he found it boring. He held his arms around his neck and walked ahead, absent-mindedly. He began to whistle a calm tune he'd heard on the radio about a month before, happy to break any silence that was around them. He kept gazing at the trees, his feet itching to be in them again.
Kopper looked at him, seeing where his sight was. Can we please? he asked, though he couldn't speak English.

Akki soon saw the light. She broke into a sprint. uikly reaching the opening.There was a man-made lake. It had a waterfall flowing into it. I was a hallow lake around 14 feet deep in the middle. The water crystl clear. she could see he stone that made the walls and floors of the lake. Beatuiful cherry blossem trees, and weping willw trees surounded the clearing.

Kisho laughed as he rushed forward, catching up to Akki as soon as the race started only to find that it was over with. He stood in the opening, a little confused. "Okay... why are we here?" he asked, holding his crook tight in his grasp.

"Becuase I like the scencery, I also like to swim. Don't worry I have a tank top and shorts on." Akki grinned at him.

Kisho smiled back, "Well it's nice to know you came prepared." he replied slyly. He put his crook down and looked up at his raccoon. "Should we go for a swim, buddy boy?" he asked.

Kopper understood every word and did not like water one bit. He jumped off and sat on a stone, a medium sized boulder that would serve well for a place he could bask in the sun.

Kisho only grinned, "Suit ya self, Kopper. I'm goin in." he took off his coat, placed his satchel on the ground, and looked at his pants. He was wearing only boxers underneath. "I got an idea." he kneeled down and ripped his pants harshly so that they were now shorts. "There." he stood triumphantly, proud of himself. He turned around and patted the furry creature briefly. "Have fun."
