"Well soon enough she will remember her past, it might take a day or two though. It should come back in dreams." Shiro replied.


"SO I have to sleep? That's boreing." Ava said, petting rose. The fox nodded.

"What about my brother." Tyhe pink and white fox barked.

Ellimint looked over at Rose, "We'll have to go back to Ireland for that. And I have to learn how to control electricity before I can even dream of going back there or going up against my brother. Odds are, he already knows how to." she answered the fox.

Kisho looked over at Ava. Sleep? That's what he needed. He let out a sigh. He was lonesome, even though he had three new strangers to talk to. He wished Akki was there. Or even, "Kopper." he spoke softly.
As if to answer his call, his satchel started rustling. "What the-" he cut himself off as a small, furry raccoon popped his head up from the leather bag, holding his left ear in his paw. "Kopper." he smiled at him, excitement in his quiet voice. "Thought I lost you there buddy." he patted his tired raccoon on his head. He figured that the drop wasn't as good for him as it was for his friend.

"Right...so how do you practice?" Ava asked. "WEll whatever I need a nap anyway with all this running around" AVa said pushing the fox off her lap and curling up in a branch of a tree.

Rose nodded.

Elli nodded and settled down. Maybe a short rest would do her fine as well. But one thing puzzled her deeply. How was she going to learn? She rolled over onto her side, Figure it out later.

Kisho had already dozed off leaning against the tree, Kopper was wrapped around his neck, licking the wound on the back of his head.

Shiro sat down leaning against a rock in the sun, he fell alseep with ava curled up in his lap. Rose curled up and fell asleep under a tree.

A fierce growl sounded in his ears and his emerald eyes sliced through the black night. Kopper was spooked, his fur on end as his fangs snarled at something. He tried to look where his raccoon was, but he couldn't find it. "What is it boy?" he leaned forward, his head swimming, but he was too curious to care.
Hard pounding was hitting the solid soil ahead of them, some splashing followed it, but it was mostly the beat of the ground that kept him focusing his gaze into the blackness. "I can't see anything." he mumbled to himself.
He looked over at the others, still sleeping. "Hey." he tried to awaken one of them. Maybe that fox thing would hear him. He looked up at his raccoon, "Wake up the white fox." he instructed, "Tell it what's going on." he said. Kopper obviously knew what was happening and he jump into action, rushing over to Rose and pawing hard at her muzzle.

"Mhhuh What, I should be eating you for breakfeast not getting bothered by you." The white fox growled. Flipping over fllicking her ear.

Kopper growled at Rose. "Get up, you fool. Somethings coming our way. I think it's those apes." he swiped at her nose, hoping to send some fierce scrapes. Maybe shear pain would wake her up.

Kisho looked around anxiously. The pounding was getting harder, nearer, faster. "Hurry up Kopper, we don't much time." he whispered harshly, begging his raccoon to get a move on.

Rose growled swattign the racoon clean thourgh the air. Growling hse had no need to fear apes.

The vibratons had woken ava and shiro they quickly turned into the gaint wolf creatures they had been. They knew the apes thought they were one of there own. "Elli get up!" Ava barked.

Kisho was struggling to stand now. Kopper had been tossed aside and simply ran back to his friend to see what he could do to help him out. The vixen had proved no help and was too selfish to care. Whatever. the furry creature was just shrugging it off as he began climbing up his friend's shoulder.

Elli was already up, a nightmare awakening her. She found that she couldn't tell what the pounding was. Her heart or the apes. Her blue eyes blinking wildly, she leaped onto her feet and looked over at Ava. "Your choice. You wanna fight or flee?" she asked, her voice grim. She'd rather fight them and be over with it, but it was really up to Ava and Shiro. She didn't want to upset some sort of stupid balance or anything.

"You and the others stand back, let me and ava handle this." Shiro growled wlaking torwads the pounding.

Elli nodded, stepping forward, in front of Kisho. "Listen kid, you just stay where you are and don't do anything stupid. I can already tell you're too sick to do anything." she growled at him, not glancing back at the young man.
She leaned forward a bit, gathering a bit of breath as she peered through the night. Some warmth shot through her as her eyes lit up. Suddenly, it was as if she could see anything. She could see in the night. Guess darkness is an element. she let the thought drift in her head as she peered through the forest to see her two companions running toward a giant crowd of primates, heading straight for them.
Thinking quickly, Ellimint figured she wasn't just about to become a sitting duck. She gathered up a quick, deep breath and held it in. She let her blood run cold, all the heat from her body sank into the soil from her feet. She lifted her arms up and gathered everything in the air, everything that seemed wet. Ice formed before her and she sliced her arms through the air. The ice shards shot forward and straight at her enemy. She was putting a dent into their numbers. She could count at least twenty that had dropped, but she couldn't see them all. Others were just injured. "Stay here." she instructed as she stalked forward, wanting to get a better view.

Kisho stood leaned up against the tree, his heart pumping. "I can't die now." he told himself, muttering. "I've got too much to do." he kept telling himslef, staying close to safety to wait for the whole thing to end. The girl was right, he was too injured to do anything. The blow that Gentian had delivered would take another day or so before he could start thinking straight.

Ava and shiro stood in fornt of the apes. THere fur black, eyes glowing red. "Leave this place! You have no busniess on this land. The Kitsune clan never had anything that would bring you here. Leave now you have no need to be here!" Ava barked. Her yellow eyes sharp on the apes.

The girl almost laughed. Leave in peace? She didn't think that a peace treaty was what these things were after. No, they wanted blood. She didn't know why, they just did.
So, she shot off yet another stream of ice and tried to think of anything else she could do.

Ava was growled her voice echoing tough the crowd. "These humans have not done a thing, This land is still pure! They will leave, but there are those who are to hurt!" Ava was rather pissed not wanting to deal with this her head hurt like crazy.

Ellimint charged forward, wishing she had her bow. Unfortunately, it was still by that kid, who had no clue what he was doing. She quickly remembered she had the sword her grandfather had given her and pulled the thick steel blade out. It shone even in the dim lit moon light. She focused on the first thing she saw, apes.
Practically smiling her blood thirsty grin, which she had no idea she had, she let the steel slice through the first thick hide, killing one instantly. She kept swinging the thing about, doing quick maneuvers and intense strategies she didn't even remember learning. She threw in her elemental powers. A wind gust at one, some ice in another's throat, some water in the eyes to blind them, a stone in the head to crack the skull, anything she could use to hurt her enemy, she was doing with deadly efficiency. Suddenly, she found she was lost in her killing spree, her mind in the depths of the cold head that now filled with a need for blood on her sword.

Ava's eyes grew dark red reddr than blood. Shadows swelled around her. Shiro knew that her kitsune side was comeing. He grabbed Elli by the shirt collor. "LEt's get out of here ava is summoning her kitsune side!" He ran out speeding wuickly back to the boy. Ava's fur grew black. She grew more tails til she had thirteen. Her fur was now silky black. COvering lovely muscles. Her body became the size of a normal fox. Her eyes had not pupils now but glew a bright red. The shadows where around her like fire surounding her. THe shadows rushed at the apes, she killed about half of them.

Ellimint was bewildered. "What the hell?" she managed to call out as she rushed off the battle field. She was tempted to cut Shiro's arm off, but she quickly dismissed it. Ava might not like that too much.
She stood beside the tree, looking down at her sword as she saw the amount of blood on it. Then, she felt oddly wet. Warm, even. She looked down and saw that she was soaked in the sticky substance. "Ugh." she groaned. What was she going to do now?
She didn't have much time to think about it. She could hear cries down further, where she was. The apes were being killed viciously. She didn't know what it was until she saw the fox and realized that Ava wasn't there. "Whoa. Remind me never to get on her bad side." she muttered to Shiro.

Shiro nodded watching the apes run off the shadows chaseing them off the island. When they disappered into teh forest, she groweled. Thhan that turned into a high pitched echoing howl. Hearing it would probley make anyone think that death was close by waiting for them. Ava growled. The shadow receded. Ava walked up the hill torwads the tree.

Elli gripped her sword. "Hey buddy, she's heading up here. Should I be worried?" she asked, turning her head towards Shiro, but keeping her gaze looked onto Ava. She had no clue what the fury had done to her or if it was off her. She knew that when she was angry, it sometimes became difficult to control who she took it out on.

Kisho went white and gripped the rough bark of the tree, wishing that he had his cane. But he didn't. That brat of a kid Gentian had it. "Damn." he muttered, blinking once or twice hard. Kopper sat upon Kisho's shoulder, not worrying much.

"Probley not, the shadows are gone so she has no wish to attack anyone." Shiro barked looking over at the to scared kids.

Ellimint watched Ava for a few more seconds. Nothing suspicious appeared in her movements, she didn't seem angry, and she looked fairly calm. "If you're wrong, my blade'll be in your neck." she warned him, wiping her steel sword off on her already blood stained shirt and let it slip back into her sheathe. She turned and found the bow right where she had left it, next to the tree Kisho was gripping to. "Aw, calm down you big baby. It's over." she growled at him, taking her weapon and glaring at him.

Kisho looked back at her. "Shut up. Tommorow I'll be fine." he replied sharply. He was right too, he'd be fine. He hoped anyway.

AVa sat now by the others. "That I don't believe." Ava's voice had once again changed it was now a bone chilling like whisper. It sliced tourgh the air, like a arrow. Her flaming red eyes landed on the boy.

Kisho glared back. "I'll be fine." he growled at her, trying to block out the blurring sensation his injury caused him. His vision went in and out and the sore pain in the back of his head told him exactly where the crack in his skull was.

Ellimint rolled her eyes. "Whatever." she simply said. "Come on, I'm wide awake and covered in blood. Let's get out of here so I can get some clothes." she said, seeking out her mare. Where was Fuil?
Walking past the group and back over to the boulder, she found the mare. Fuil was laying down, sitting down stock still. She seemed a little odd, just slightly out of place.
She noticed that a raccoon was laying on her neck. And as she neared it, it seemed to look up at her with it's gentle gaze full of grief. Immediately her blood ran cold and she became too aware that the horse wasn't breathing. "Oh no." she muttered, sprinting to the equine's side.
Fuil was dead. Her neck held a grumsome gash and her eyes were glazed over. The raccoon was laying on top of the cut, obviously trying to help some how.
Tears didn't come. They couldn't. She had cried far too much already. So much grief had previously visited her, it drained her tears. She sat back, her body numbed, staring at the dead horse. She couldn't say a word, but she wanted to know what had killed her horse.
Elli mustered up whatever breath she had left. "Hey." she called weakly, "Come over here, guys."

Rose slipped over out of the darkness yawning. Than stopped dead seeing the horse fear ran tourgh her and her fur stood on end.

Shiro walked over Ava sitting on his back.
