Claire sniffed, still thrashing her body about. "I don't have any strengths! I'm all weak, I pose no threat to you." she cried, her headache to great for her to think clearly. It was growing, more and more, gradually loosing her self control.

"Sit still." He growled.

Her whole body, except her pounding head, numb, she obeyed absentmindedly. She sat up, holding her head in her hands as she waited for her death. "I can't believe this is happening to me." she whispered, barely hearing herself over the drum beats in her mind. She lost a single tear as she closed her eyes.

"Take her to the edge of the territory meiko." Her father growled walkeing away.

Meiko stood. The frnt of her shirt covered in blood. Along with her hands and mouth.

What I wouldn't do for a blanket. I'm so cold...
Claire sat on the ground, her mind finally running blank. She was freezing, her teeth chattered and clashed together, creating a harsh tapping noise. Instantly a warm sensation wrapped around her, smiling she opened her eyes to find a thick, cotton blanket covering her body. Her jaws gaped open as she stared down at it. "How-" she cut off. If she was this amazed, she couldn't imagine how the wolves would do.

"GEt up and follow me." The bloody meiko growled.

Claire decided there was nothing she could do, but follow the girl. Maybe they'd let her go. If she was lucky. Regardless, she followed the girl, stepping noisily through the snow as it crunched beneath her simple sneakers. She mustered up the strength to finally ask something. "Are you going to kill me?" she asked.

Meiko Did not reply. Just walked an stood in a spot miles away form the camp. "This is where the park humans are allowed in stops. This is were the wid starts."

Claire nodded, her mind far away from the current place she was. "Can I still go into the woods behind my house? I don't hunt your prey, I just go there to clear my head. You see, I get these really bad headaches everyday and being outside seems to help it. Sometimes." she said, hoping the girl would understand, though she knew the odds were against her.
If she said no, she'd have to bear her pain in her own home, with her parents there. And she didn't want her mother or father to know that she had powers, she didn't want anyone to know. Though she was only capable of seeing the future in strange dreams every night, they wouldn't be happy about it. Well, she didn't know that, but she just felt it was necessary to keep it a secret.

"Just say out of my territory. We dont give second chances."

Claire nodded, hearing neither a yes or no to her question. She was about three miles from home. "I better get home." she whispered to herself, a little scared since night was arriving and it was in the middle of winter, the temperature already descending.

Mekio disappered out of nowhere.

Claire went home.
