Inventions

Angel fell on on his butt with hers. It was a clear spot and she would be clean. Angel let go of his arm standing up. The air that had swept past her had covered her in bumps from chills.

The young man burst out in laughter, still in the mud, laying on his back. "Well wasn't that just splendid?" he laughed at her, holding his belly with the two hands he had. But, she wasn't really smiling or anything. Was he too immature for his age? For his mental intellect? It couldn't be possible, not with his current IQ, with his inventions, successions. Angel was just mad at him, maybe. He hoped it was the first option more, though. He'd hate to see her in a fit.
He kept right on laughing, for about thirty seconds or so, refusing to let the humor go, not for the slightest second.

"Well at least i'm still clean," The girl sighed. walking to the gun range. She pulled her new gun out and pointed torwads the target.

The boy suddenly didn't really feel the need to laugh any longer. He laid there for a second, mud sinking further and further into his clothes as he gritted his teeth. It looked as if someone really did wake up on the wrong side of the bed.
He struggled to his feet, searching for his shoe momentarily as he hopped over to the range where Angel stood, about to fire her new gun. His new invention.
Gentian leaned lightly against her momentarily as he put his muddy shoe back on. "One moment please, we are currently experiencing technical difficulties." he muttered, hoping it would sound like a joke as he slipped his shoe back on.

Angel smirked, holding the pistol like gun out. She shut on eye to look tourgh the scope. The aim was perfect. Angel shot. The bullet grazed tourgh the air in to the target. It made a ripping sound as it fell apart. It had been demolished by limestone bebe's. THe girl smiled. There was something she read up on that she wanted to try.

"Well shot." the teenager congratulated as soon as he finish putting his shoe back on. Now that he could stand properly, he took his weight off of Angel and balanced himself back on his own two feet. "Why not try the other patterns?" he wasn't too sure if that was really what he should have called it, but he didn't know what else to.
There was continuous and three shot left. He wanted to know how they would work out, all three of them put together. He hoped to God that it would work flawlessly. He should have tried it before he gave it to Angel.

"I wanna try something first. I learned about a old group of assaisin's long ago wiped out. Butthey were strong. Their technice flawless. I want to try it. So back up." Angel said.

Gentian nodded without another word. He stopped at about three feet behind her, curiosity prickling almost as fiercely as his arm was. That was of course, because his limb was beginning to circulate blood flow again. "Ready when you are." he said, one of his most favorite phrases.

Angel stuck her arm out to the side looking at a pole in the way of A target. She turned torwads it. She moved her arm forward at amazeing speed. The bullet passed genitain and cruved around the pole hitting ht target dead on.

Gentian felt his blood run cold. She was shooting him! Maybe he'd gone a bit too far, done too much to her. She seemed rather angry now. He couldn't even shut his eyes, he was too surprised. But, he didn't feel a thing. He stopped, his paralyzed limbs letting a little life flow into them. He searched his body. He wasn't shot, not even scratched. Well, not entirely. One stray bee bee had scraped hard against his arm and left a flesh wound, but it was nothing serious. A Band-Aid would do it. He sure was happy he hired her.
"Well done." he clapped, impressed. "But next time, please, don't hesitate to warn me." he narrowed his eye sight ever so slightly. He didn't think it was too funny.

"Heh, sorry i don't think you would freak like that on me, I thought the bebes would come out later than that. "Angel shrugged.

The young man stood there, frozen for a few more seconds. Why? No idea. He just was. He put his hands up, palms showing at her. "No need, I'm not freaking," he quoted the freaking, "out on you, just merely making a suggestion." he shrugged, stepping forward so that he he practically six inches away from her. "Now then, shall we get back to shooting or will we be talking for the rest of the day?" he asked, rain pelting down on his back. Looked as if maybe the mud was to be washed out for him.

Angel shrugged switching the pattern of the gun. She shot the round.

"The gun seems to be working well. Are you sure you want it as your own?" Gentian asked, questioning her for the final time. She only had to give it her voice commands and it would program the gun, permanently.

"Of course I do, now what is that command again." Angel said looking at the broken target.

The young man nodded. "Very well, let me see your gun." he said, reaching out and taking the weapon before she even replied. He held it by its long barrel and placing the handle on his palm. He looked under and pushed the small button on the base of the handle, ready to hold it in as he looked up at her. "When I say 'Go', state your name. Then, state the gun's name. Whatever you wish will be its name. After, say 'Hello' and 'Good bye', speaking its name after you say either. Then the whole security system will be set and the gun will be yours permanently."
He watched her carefully, examining her bright gaze as he waited for an answer. For such a pretty girl, she had intelligent eyes. Good. He wasn't one for paying dummies to carry out his work.

Angel nodded waiting for him to say go.

The young Irishmen nodded, looking back down at his creation. It was sleek with water, but the grip was serving its purpose. It kept the task of holding the weapon simple. He took one slight, silent sip of air and blurted "Go."
Then, he held down the small button. He couldn't say a word. If he did, the gun would mistake his voice for hers and self-destruct. Just one of the many precautions he had made. It knew her voice already, but it needed more than just the simple syllable he'd programmed. If it caught a tone different from hers, a mechanism inside the gun would strike, causing sparks to fall down on a small pocket of gunpowder, which laid on a small case of C4. Just enough to blow away a mile radius. He'd enhanced the explosive's power.

"Angel Blacke, Scarlett, Hello scarlett, goodbye scarlett," Angel spoke the words clearly and than looked to Genitain.

He'd barely dared to breathe. He could feel a bead of sweat actually penetrating through his pores. Gentian couldn't believe himself. He ought to be the definition of a drama-queen! It was simple button, and nothing was going to happen if he just shut up, which he did.
As soon as his companion stopped speaking, he let go of the button, the small piece of glass sinking into the gun. It was done, and couldn't be undone. "Here we are, it is yours now." he grinned, his blue eyes beaming as he handed it over to her. "Call it an early Christmas gift." he said, joking.

"Yay chritmas!" Angel jumped up and down on that point. She liked halloween far more but chritmas got her new weapons.

The man resisted the urge to roll his eyes and crossed his arms on his chest, in a casual way. What were they to do now? More gun practice? Angel knew all there was about guns, surely she didn't need more time adjusting to a silent one?

Angel held her gun, safely tucking it back where it belonged.

A new, curious question crossed his mind. Angel had a sword, a very tasteful one, a gun, fit clothes. But really, was that all she could get? Couldn't he make more? He was bored these days.
He didn't really want to mess around with his new subject yet, she wasn't tame enough yet. Not enough to conduct experiments on. Even though his plans his been done for well over a month. She was just too unwilling. Maybe if he was to throw in something to gamble with, come up with some false hope, possibly blackmail...
"My dear friend, is there anything else, a tool of some sort, that you could use?" he asked, severely anxious to receive her answer. He was desperately hoping she'd say something.
But then... he had another idea of his sleeve, just in case she said no. Which, hopefully, wasn't the answer she had in her mind.

"I have never really thought about it," Angel tought it out. She was happy liveing the way she did.
