Nick almost felt guilty. Animal testing? He couldn't know if he was against it or with it, not unless he saw it. But by the way the bird sounded, it didn't look good. So, he guessed he probably shouldn't and wouldn't be doing it any time soon. "Sorry. Just curious." he said, looking down at his shoes as they moved, following Avira. He looked back at the bird. "I don't think your fat anyway." he grinned at the raven, trying to get the conversation back into a light, happy mood.

Rosuto smiled. "THanks, me and huhrou are constantly fighting it's more for fun than to be mean, she just doens't give a hoot about he difference of a crow to an owl." Karusa said.

Nick laughed, thinking up a quick joke. "I bet Hukuro couldn't tell a crow from an owl, even if you signs on them." he winked at the raven, hoping he'd play along. He wanted some fun.

"I swear to god she got scared of her own relfection and phunched it." Karusa luaghed.

"Yes, Karusa, becuase you put a picture of the ugliest ogd ever there and it scared her. Than I had to buy a new mirrior." Rosuto said.

Nicodemus chuckled. "Hope that seven years of bad luck is just a myth." he grinned, almost tripping over a rock.

"We're here."
That was from Avira, standing triumphantly on the cliff of East Wallaby's Burrow. It was a beautiful land. Golden grasses grew everywhere and gum trees dotted the landscape, holding all sorts of birds. Wedge-tailed Eagles and King parrots, and even galahs. The horizon was filled with rolling hills, soft types. Off to the west, thick woods covered the lands and the north held only a pond with brush covering every piece of the shoreline. A small creek cut through everything, leading off to the creek. It must have been the thing filling the puddle.

Hukurou looked at the land in front of her. "It's so pretty," Rosuto stood beside her. She didn't say a word just waited for them to walk again.

Nicodemus took lead this time. "Right, let's get a move on. Unless we plan on spending the night. This would be the time to decide." he turned to the two visitors. "It's up to you two. What do you want to do?"

"Huh, well...It doesn't matter to me," Rosuto said, A bit timidly.

"Well....Let's go do something interesting. No climbing tough.

"Kay, got it." Avira nodded, heading off to the side of the cliff. "Nick, we don't need tents. We know this place like the back of our hands, and we know what to use instead." she told him, heading down the slope that lead down to the valley.

"I guess we're staying then." Nicodemus shrugged and waited for the other two to follow before he went. He wouldn't let his guard down. Not yet.

Hukurou helped Rosuto make her way down the steep path. ROsuto's foot got chaught in a crevice and she fell forward. Her bangs flying up and she hit the ground with her back. The bandges full in view. She had a n oh crap moment.

Avira kept going, her mind spinning with the many notes and chords she could be playing at the moment. She had her eyes on a gum tree nearly a few hundred yards from the pond. It was the ideal spot for a stake out, unless it was necessary to be camouflaged. But that place was secret, and they didn't need it.

The young man followed the two girls, the one obviously leading the other. Nick still couldn't figure it out and he felt hopelessly stupid. Regardless, he continued following the two and reached out his arm when he saw Rosuto loose her footing somehow and begin to fall. To his dismay, his reach failed and she fell onto her back, bandages wrapped around her eyes. And he finally felt a clearity in come alive in his head. She was blind!
He leaned down and grabbed at her hand. "You ought to watch where your going." he said, pretending that he had no clue she couldn't' see. "Lemme help you up."

Rosuto let him help her up. Karusa flew back down on her shoulder. Rosuto quickly grabbed back onto the wrist of Hukurou her bangs all back in place now. Hideing her bandages, She stood closely to her firend. She often acted like a younger sister to Hukurou, while Hukurou acted like a older sister.

Nick felt a little awkward now, not exactly sure what he should say or do. Now that he knew she was blind, there wasn't much he could say about sights. He contined the miniature journey, looking down at his shoes as he marched on.

Avira fell back a little, falling in with the group. "What do ya say bout this kinda country? Ya gotta worry about rabbit holes, but it's great for the most part." she said, trying to strike up a conversation. For once, she was sick of playing her imaginary violin. She'd rather have her real one.

Rosuto muttered. "Great rabbit holes, i'm gonna get a broken leg." She complained quietly to herself.

"yay! rabbits, great to bad im climsy. I get myself stuck." Hukurou said.

Avira laughed. "Nah, don't worry. They're around the trees. I'll show ya."

Nick walked beside the girls, "It's not too bad. There's no warrens around here. She's just saying that to keep you on your toes. She does it to everyone." he whispered to them. He hated how Avira always kept everyone wary, but it always seemed to serve a purpose.

Hukurou shrugged. A picked up Rosuto and set her her shoulders. The tall girl was strong and sturdy, but the girl on her shoulders was short and light as a feather. One hyper one blind. They made an odd couple.

Once again, Nick felt himself pushed aside. So he moved forward, keeping his eyes on the tree Avira was leading them too. Instantly, he was thinking about what he could be drawing. What else could he think about? School? No way. He might be good at it, but it didn't mean he had to like it.

Avira stopped at the tree, jumping up and scrambling up into the branches. "Show yourself around. Nice place, just stay away from the wildlife. They might look nice, but they'll kill ya. Trust me." she called from within the leaves. She wanted to keep a sort of sentry duty and watch over the valley for a little bit.

Hukurou shrugged. "Were good here, I'd get lost."

Nick sat down by the tree his sister was in, taking out his sketchbook and looking around. He didn't really see anything that he either hadn't already drawn or looked interesting enough to be worth a page of his paper.
But, he could hear a rumbling noise coming up. Like a car or something.

"We've got company." Avira alerted the others, spotting a large SUV, tan with a machine gun on top of it.

The young man stood, his jaws gritted. It looks as if they were sick of poaching, judging by all the pelts of various creatures on the back of their truck. He could see a man on the gun, and a passenger with an automatic weapon in the side seat, and a driver with a cigarette in his mouth. Not a very happy looking crew. He whipped around to look at the other two. With no words coming from his mouth, he simply whipped back around and looked about. He doubted he could take on three guys with guns. He'd have to think of something else.

Hukurou set Rosuto don't she formed a rock in her hand and aimed it at the ddriver's head she threw it and it hit him in the skull.

The truck zoomed up, swerving out of control. Nick could tell where it was heading. "Avira, get out of there!" he called up, anger in his voice. He wasn't mad, no, quite the contriary. Now he felt quite scared for his sisters life. When that vehicle hit the tree, it'd be smashed in half.

Avira gazed out, looking at the out of control SUV. It was coming her way when she heard her brother. "I know!" she growled at him. What was she to do? The thing was too fast for her to climb out, she'd have to jump. Hopefully Nick was strong enough to catch her.
She leaped out, fear tingling through her body as she fell onto her brother. She glared at him, relief turning into anger. "Nice catch, butterfingers." she said, getting up quickly. Now what? They had no defenses and the truck was being stopped by the others. They had it in park and now it looked like they weren't too happy. The poachers wanted vengeance.

ukurou smirked, "YOu guys stay behind us! Got we can deal with them," She said. Her katana already in her hand, Rosuto's know just appering.

"Watch them Karusa," The raven nodded and fluttered onto the shoulder of the boy.

"I twould be best to listen to them, they know what they are doing," He spoke softly to the boy.

Nick looked over at the bird, sitting like a stone on the ground. He couldn't do anything, he couldn't fight guys with guns. Guys without guns, yeah, maybe. But these guys could kill him with a simple movement of their fingers. He couldn't exactly compete with that. He nodded dumbly, then looked over at Avira. "Get over here." he hissed at her. But she wasn't exactly listening.

Just need to find one big enough... Of all the boulders around here, she couldn't find one half a foot taller? Then she saw it. It was perfect and it looked as if heaven was shining its light upon it, making it look like the holy sanctuary.
She dove to the right, barrel-rolling right behind it. "Great. Now I can actually do something." she grinned, crouching behind the great stone. Lifting up her shirt and reaching behind her back, she grabbed for a ice-cold metal object. As she aimed and leveled her pistol, she flicked off the safety and put a round in the chamber. She held her grin and aimed a bullet at the first guy, the one in at the machine gun. He'd be the first one down. And he was, a bullet flew right through his lung and he fell instantly. She should have felt guilty or something of the sort, but she too worried for her own life. Thank God she never went bush without a pistol.

Rosuto shoved her katana through one of the man's rib cage to his heart, Hukurou slamming her's between one guys eyes. The rest fell quickly. Rosuto quickly like the speed of light punched a guy so hard he went flying through a nearby tree. Hukurou having fun and torutreing them. One headed towards nick. Right in front of him. Rosuto growled appearing in front of nick she slammed her sword into his neck. The man fell beheaded.

Nick was up on his feet, breathing hard with his eyes bug eyed. They looked like the kind you'd find on stuffed animals, except his had pupils and hazel iris'. His heart was fluttering within his chest and he thought if it went any faster, it might be on the ground in the bush, standing right next to him. He looked down at his chest and felt his clothes, making sure that nothing had hit him as he heard a bullet go off.
Where did it come from? He whipped around, peering through the outback. Nothing. It came from thin air. Then he spotted his sister, Avira, with a large Magnum within her grips. She was grinning and squeezing off shots as if it were just some kind of game. He could just imagine the thoughts behind her soft gray eyes, turned hard and vicious from the blood lust she was now receiving.
Nicodemus felt his jaw drop, his stomach and heart both going along with it. What the hell was wrong with her? Didn't she know she was killing people? He stared at her in astonishment for a few moments, not sure if he should say anything.
A scream alerted his attention another way. He felt his whole body jerk in suprise and his fists clenched and rose. A man, about thirty, with dusty brown hair and a cheap, rolled cigarette in his mouth was charging toward him. A rifle held in one arm, a knife rose at him in the other.
Without even thinking, Nick felt his head lower and his eyesight blur as adrenaline made him fight, and as he was about to tackle him, his ears caught a sort of gurgling, drowining noise. The young man looked up and nearly threw up. The man was dead, his head was completely off. He gazed about and saw all the fighting, the girls were killing everyone, no one was left alone. It seemed Avira fit in with this group after all.
