Ava nodded slideing on the fence to beside the horse takeing the bridle.

Elli crossed her arms, watching Ava. "Remember, gently." she simply said calmly, ready to jump into action in case something happened.

Ava gently slid it on. At the bit she held the bottem of mouth open and slid it in.

Elli smiled, satisfied. "Great. She's all set. Grab her lead and we'll take out to the breaking corral." she waved her hand, walking away to the corral. Letting out two sharp whistles, Fuil followed. One whistle was for both, two whistle was for Fuil, and a shout was for Airgid. It was simple, but efficient.

ava followed her.

Finding the corral fairly simply, Elli opened the old wooden fence and walked in. She held it open, waiting for Ava to lead her horse in. The circular corral was fenced high and was clear. Nothing was in it besides grass. "Okay, your gonna hop onto her and hold on for dear life. Don't get off until she stops bucking." she called, ready to see the best part.

Ava gulped and nodded. Se walked in and hopped on shay. She held on hr dear life cloeing her eyes. Ava fel her body fly up. She opened her eyes graping for dear life onto the lead. She landed down once again. Closeig her eyes.

Elli was there to yell out any necessary instructions, she found she could give one right now. "Get your feet in those stirrups! They'll keep you on her back!" she shouted, hoping it would work.

"They won't fit, I got platform boots on.

"Take off the boots! Hurry before she kicks you off!" The teenager yelled. Anger rushed through her as she thought, I should have seen her shoes. I'm such an idiot! Elli scolded herself.

Ava took her hands of the rope. Her bright with an idea. She set one hand on her neck. the other on her cheek. Than leaned forward and whispered in her ear. "It's ok now. WE will learn togather. And I will protect you." THe horse stopped bucking.

Elli laughed aloud, throwing her hands up in the air. "Great! Now you can start riding, Ava." she said, grabbing onto Fuil as she leaped upon her mare's back. Giving a soft nicker, the buckskin mare trodded up to beside the young filly. "Good girl." the teenager stroked her horse, knowing she must have been tired from all the riding she'd done today.

Ava leaned back. "My butt is sore."

Elli looked at Ava, her hands both on the side of her cheek. "You poor thing." she faked a sad face with her hands. Fuil pawed the ground just once as she wanted to meet the new young filly. The teenager quit it, "Come on. You have to get used to it. We have to train her now."

Ava cursed under her breath. Shay neighed."YOu can say that again." Ava said patting her neck.

Grabbing the rope that still hung around the post, Elli tied it to the filly's bridle. "Now all you have to do is give her a nudge on her sides once I start moving her. This'll teach her to go when you touch her sides." she said, making sure the rope was knotted properly on the bridle ring. Looking up at Ava, she held the rope tightly in her hands. "Did you come up with a name for her yet?"

"She told me her name was shay." Ava repiled.

Elli looked up at Ava in surprise, "I didn't you could talk to animals, but I should've figured I guess. You tap her and I'll bring her forward." she instructed, ready with her rope.

"It is sort of hard not to learn thier language if you can become them." Ava said tapping shay's sides as Elli walked her forward.

Bringing the filly forward, Elli glanced at the beautiful paint horse. "If you can talk to them, then it couldn't be hard to tell them what to do instead of trying to train them like this. Shay could be ridden today if you talk to her and tell her how to ride. Fuil could help her too." her buckskin mare following her. She loved her horse, she was energetic and dependable. She seemed untiring and she never appeared to want to give up. She was stubborn and hotheaded, and it fueled her speed.

"Exactly what i Was thinking." (litetaly) Ava patted the mare's neck.

Elli nodded, "Good. You can tell her what each sort of tug means and the way you pull the reins will direct her to turn. Once you two master that, I'll start to teach you how to ride without a saddle and move on from that. You two will be so close it'll be hard to tell you apart. Once that happens, your unstopable." she said, stroking Fuil's neck as she walked away from Shay.

Ava explained to shayeverything. The horse noded when she understood. And soon they were trotign around the track.

Elli stood watching, noting the good form from Shay. She nodded, turning back to Fuil. "Let's show 'em how it's done." she smiled at her mare, leaping onto her her pale ginger back. Grabbing a hold of a small piece of her mane, she touched her side and they were off.
Fuil sped off to meet up with Shay, immediately slowing down to trot beside her. "If you stand up straight, you'll absorb the bouncing better." Elli called over to Ava, who was sitting on the shorter filly, who was still growing.

"I already have a natural straight postutre." She stuck her tounge out at Elli.
