AVa gabbed her baags and found a guest bedroom and fell asleep.

Bringing both the horses back into the field, she stroked Fuil's muzzle. "Sorry. Go get some rest, you deserve it." she whispered, giving her horse a hug as she left the field.
She came back into the warm cabin, a fireplace in the living room. She smiled at it as she remembered roasting marshmallows on it with her Grandpa on rainy days.
Wiping a tear from her cheek, she started up the fire and laid down on the couch, remembering her Grandfather letting her lay in his lap as he rubbed her head, making her fall asleep. She always woke up in her bed, warm and cozy as she always did.
She let herself fall asleep, smiling in her slumber as sweet dreams came upon her.

5 in the morning Ava looked up at the ceiling. No words on a few cut reopened with her nails. She put her arms behind her head. THan jsut stared forward.

Elli's eyes blinked open as she heard the fire crackle, a log falling in half as the blaze at through it. She turned around, trying to fall back asleep when she found she couldn't.
Standing up, she went to the bathroom, starting the shower. Locking the door and taking off her clothes, she took a hot shower, bathing in warm water for the first time in years.

Ava heard the water turn on than ignored it.

Hopping out and grabbing a clean towel, Elli sneaked out of the bathroom with her clothes in her hands. I hope Ava isn't up. she thought in her head, running into her Grandfather's room.
There, she began shuffling through the dresser, finding some clothes for her to wear.
A few minutes later, she was brushing her hair after she had gotten on a navy blue t-shirt and a pair of sweatpants. "Guess Gram stayed in shape too." she laughed, imagining her grandmother working out when she realized she didn't know what her grandmother looked like.
She shrugged, "That'll be an adventure for another day. Let's get Ava's out of the way first." she said, leaving the room while she pulled her sneakers on, multi-tasking.

Ava layed on the bed. The door shu tight. The neighing of the horses calming into the background. She stared a the black ceiling. Her Green eyes clouded in thoght.

Elli almost fell, keeping her balance by grabbing the wall as she heard a door slam. "Ava." she sighed. She must still be mad with me. she walked up to the door, knocking on it. "Um.... Hello?" she asked softly, not sure of what she should say.

"What" Ava called.

Elli blinked, looking out into space as she realized she didn't know what to say. "Um.. do you want to learn archery?" she suggested, figuring that if they wanted to go to Japan, they had to learn all the things she needed to know, the same with Elli.

"It's 5 in the morning."Ava growled.

The young girl grabbed her arm, starting to get nervous. "You're not up yet?" she asked, letting her mind run blank. Maybe it was just coincidence that she was up now. She was used to getting up early. But maybe Ava was used to sleeping in, she had no idea what Japan was like. As a matter of fact, she had no idea what her own homeland was like. She was glad Ava was here to clear those things up, if she was still willing to.

"No I'm sleeping like a baby, no i'm not sleeping Or I wouldn't be talking to you. And All im doing is stareing at a ceiling. it's not even light outside.

Elli rolled her eyes, a small smile appearing on her face. "Well at least I know she isn't sick." she whispered to herself.
"The light outside never stopped me before. Come on, I'll show you how." she called into the room. She knew exactly how she could see as clear as day at five A.M., it was easy and she did it every day.

"Go away." Ava sid rolling up under the blanket and holding a pillow over her head.

Elli sighed, "Fine. But when you do get up, I'm making pancakes." she said, leaving for the kitchen. She remembered the cooking lessons her grandfather gave her. It seemed as if he was preparing her for anything and everything.

Ava went back to sleep.

After a meal of bacon, pancakes, and biscuits, Elli sat in front of the fire. Her old roasting stick was still in the cabin, with a bag of marshmallows still good. She began roasting her own marshmallows, laughing whenever one caught fire when the treat ventured too close to the open blaze.

A few hours passed and Elli found herself staring at the cold fireplace, ashes filling the empty spaces. She sighed, throwing the stick to the side, the wasted marshmallows still in the ashes. She didn't eat any, only one or two, the rest she let fall into the flames. The full bag now empty.
